In Office Testing
To make diagnosis and follow-up as efficient as possible, Dr. Abdallah offers a range of testing directly in the office.
Pulmonary function testing (PFT): Measures how well your lungs are working — used to diagnose and monitor conditions like asthma, COPD, and interstitial lung disease.
Exercise pulse oximetry: Measures how your oxygen levels respond to activity, which can help identify oxygen needs that aren't apparent at rest.
Polysomnography: Sleep study testing used to evaluate for sleep apnea and other sleep-related breathing disorders.
Point-of-care ultrasonography: Dr. Abdallah performs in-office ultrasound to evaluate the lungs and pleural space in real time — useful for assessing pleural effusions, guiding procedures, and getting immediate answers during your visit rather than waiting on outside imaging.
Blood draws: Lab work can be drawn on-site, so bloodwork related to your pulmonary care can often be completed during the same visit, without a separate trip to a lab.
Why in-office testing matters: Having these tools available on-site means many results can be reviewed with you the same day, so your treatment plan can move forward without unnecessary delays.
